7th September, 2017, I received a revelation on how Light is able to have it’s way with time.
I had put some sheets (old newspapers) to help blind the light from the corridor on my floor, from penetrating my room, so I could sleep at night. But after listening to Andrew Womack this dawn on the message I am on for the month, “You’ve Already got it in you,” and was about to pray into sleep, I realized the light is throwing back inside, though lightly than before. It was totally dark when I first put the sheets, over only a week ago.
The Spirit ministered to me, how powerful light is.
“And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” John 1:5 KJV
As one spends more time with the light, being constantly aware of His presence and communing with Him in His word, i.e: listening to true teachings that bring revelations and being focused on Him, every darkness (any form of the old man), is cast away and one begins to reflect the light of His glory which is already in our born again spirit. And so is any one who has received enlightenment in other ways.
Also, as one looks constantly in the word, which is light (John 1:1-5), the person tend to reflect that light and he or she shines brighter. It was same of Moses of a passing glory, but we have that which remains: “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV (ref. Vrs. 13-17).
In the same way, generally in life, one gets more and more enlightened as he spends more time seeking knowledge: one is illuminated.
Furthermore, those who have had an encounter with the Christ, have become the light of this world; (“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an a hill cannot be hid.” Matthew 5:14 KJV, “And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness.” Romans 2:19 KJV), and same for those who have found enlightenment in other ways. So they should know that, the more time we spend with others who are in ‘darkness’ (those who haven’t received our revelation), we rob on them our light and in time the darkness in them has to flee and give way to light,“ for darkness can not comprehend light.
But our time with such, should be spent wisely, knowing that we are; “…a guide to the blind, a light of them which are in darkness.” It sometimes takes time. But with patience endurance, we shall succeed. I have first hand experience of a brother who has succeeded in this area, after 2 years of endeavor: “for we are not of those who draw back and perish…” (Hebrews 10:39).
Sometimes we are too quick to judge and stop because we are not seeing change in the way we want. It is said that; “the wound is the place the light enters you.” So know that the light once it begins to expose things, may not receive a palatable response. But you need to be patiently persistent.
With time, I realize the best way to minister to others of other faith or belief different from ours, that what we have is the best option, is not by trying to push ours on them, but to live out what we profess. If it’s about the man Jesus Christ, not condemning but accepting all, just as He did to all that came to Him. Just as the master did not force anyone to accept Him, but only showed love and demonstrated power, so should anyone who claims to follow Him.
At the end of it all, people will always chose to believe what they want. For Christians, we must realize the faith with which we believed, is that of Christ and we couldn’t have, without it. The knowledge of this will help us be thankful and be patient with others as God is.
In conclusion, let us, who’s spirit man has been born again through Christ, be conscious of His presence and commune with Him every minute of our time and keep our focus in His word, hearing and hearing to build our faith so that we will reflect that which He has already accomplished in us, manifesting it for the total salvation of creation. And those who have found enlightenment by other ways, should keep getting deeper and reflect the true beauty of what they believe and make the world a better place.
Be aware that, the effort you take to worry, is the same you use to meditate on His word or the truth in your faith. There is nothing so strange and religious about communing constantly with God. You can do that while eating, bathing, chatting with friends, undertaking your favorite activity and even when sleeping; yes, because it’s your body that sleeps, not your spirit.
I write these things not as an authority but by revelation. Revelation I believe is progressive, but as I receive based on certain experiences at a point in time of my journey with my Love and Lord, I write and I hope it becomes a blessing to some one. May be some day, I may gain a deeper understanding and add to it or have a better knowledge than this. However, what I write now, has been real in my life and very consistent with His written word as I have understood it.
